A warm family welcome, wonderful food, a friendly ‘local’ bar and a beautiful country setting combine at The Roydon White Hart. John, Debbie, Beth and Claire opened for business at the beginning of 2016, and following a refreshing refurbishment, the pub is proving as popular as ever.
Our newly refitted bar serves local real ales, an exciting range of classic and contemporary spirits, and a new wine list for aperitifs or to accompany your meal.
John brings a lifetime of experience in the pub trade, including twenty years as chef/owner at the highly successful eating house The Rushall Half Moon, alongside Claire, Debbie and daughter Beth at front of house.
The c16th building offers a perfect atmosphere, where tastefully furnished and casually set tables help diners enjoy the beamed bar and an open through hearth with roaring fire in the winter. Our beautiful garden is just perfect for Al Fresco dining on long summer days or warm evenings, and the lawns run down to open countryside with stunning views over the Waveney valley below.
With regular music Sundays, seasonal events and catering for your special days or nights, situated just outside the pretty market town of Diss and next to the Norman round-towered church, Roydon White Hart really is drinking and dining at the ‘heart’ of the village. We look forward to seeing you soon!
