COVID-19 Update from 24th September 2020
Following on from the governments announcement Tuesday 22nd September 2020 we would like to update our customers of the new measures we are putting in place to comply with the requirements.
From Thursday 24th September customers must wear face coverings except when seated at their table to eat and drink, if you leave your table to go to the toilet or to leave the pub a mask must be worn.
All staff will be wearing face coverings to comply with this new requirement which will now become law.
We will now have to lock our doors at 10pm therefore please do not be offended if one of our team brings you the bill even though you have not requested it, it’s not that we don’t want you in our pub but that we have to ensure all our customers have left by 10pm to comply with this new.
Since we re-opened we had been running full table service so there are no changes to how this will operate.
Once again we like to thank all our customers for your support and understanding during the unusual times.
Please book wherever possible to guarantee a table indoors, the British weather will mean our outside tables won’t always be available, although we do have a few tables on our covered terrace and the terrace bar for those wishing to just have a drink with us.
We require that you use our hand sanitiser when entering and exiting the premises and during your visit.
Please Follow our One Way system and respect other customers and the toilets will be a one in, one out system.
We will be running a complete table service system even for drinks.
We have to take your details for ‘Track and Trace’ we won’t pass these details on to any third party and they won’t be kept past the government requirement of 21 days.
We’ve always been on top of hygiene but our cleaning regimes have been stepped up in line with the government requirement for Covid-19 and all staff have been trained in these requirements.
Although the way we work has had to change we have done everything we can to make our customers feel welcome and look forward to welcoming you to the White Hart again and ask that you respect our staff at all times.
We will constantly keep up to date with industry guidelines and change our procedures as required.
See you soon
